Synopsis
No secrets about her origin, slave-born Goodeoki got by day-to-day enduring the abuse from her master with her sharp wit. When her master buries her sick mother alive, Goodeoki plots her escape, her last hope to protect her ill father. However, worried that his illness will only drag her down, her father vanishes. While frantically searching for him, Goodeoki crosses paths with Ok Tae Young, an angel, a savior unlike Lady So Hye, whom she had served her entire life. In a fleeting moment, Goodeoki adapts to the new world and, with Ok Tae Young's help, becomes an adopted daughter of the Ok family. But without enough time to enjoy her new life, the night of her adoption, bandits attack, leaving her as the sole survivor. Alone in Cheongsu County, Goodeoki sheds her name to live the new life as Tae Young. Now, hiding her true self, she must fight against time and danger to honor her savior's dream while struggling to keep her own secrets buried.
