Air Cocaine - Season 1 (2023)

March 2013 – the Dominican Republic. A Falcon 50 private jet is about to take off from the Punta Cana airport to Saint-Tropez, but it’s intercepted by the Dominican authorities when they find 700kg of cocaine on board. Two French pilots, a third co-pilot and one passenger are arrested first, with 47 Dominican, both military men and civilians, also taken into custody in the hours to come. With the involvement of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, the "Air Cocaine" investigation becomes a real roller coaster ride full of twists and turns: a series of arrests in the Dominican Republic and France leads to a media explosion, the two pilots escape in a spectacular way and are finally arrested in Egypt and extradited to Santo Domingo.
