Synopsis
A mysterious special order from the German army command sends a troop of mountain troops on a risky mission that resembles a suicide mission. Soldiers Konrad Hartmann and Walter Kemper are transferred to Finland to take part in the massive German offensive against the Soviet Union. But the two friends soon realize that their true mission lies far beyond ordinary warfare. Their elite unit, led by SS-Obersturmbannführer Rudolf Krieger and an enigmatic woman with unusual powers, takes its own path. They follow enigmatic tracks engraved in runes on an ancient stone tablet. They soon find themselves caught up in a whirlwind of mysterious events that not only distort their perception, but also appear to affect the very fabric of time. Konrad and Walter find themselves going from one dangerous situation to the next and ultimately find themselves on a path that should actually be unreachable for mortals
