Synopsis
Based on the novel and inspired by true events, this contemporary Swedish thriller follows the story of ambitious young financial reporter Bea Farkas (Julia Ragnarsson, Midsommar). Bea is having a secret affair with married family man Peder Rooth (Matias Varela, Narcos), the CEO of one of Stockholm’s most successful banks. Although she promised herself not to mix her job with her private life, Bea has fallen in love with Peder and can’t bring herself to break up with him. Suddenly, she gets a tip that his bank is hiding big problems. Trusting her instincts, Bea looks for evidence, but Peder shrugs her off. With an explosive story emerging and her journalistic integrity on the line, Bea must decide whether to pursue love or the truth.
