The criminal defense lawyer Lea Brandstätter has to witness how her boyfriend, the successful soccer scout David Winter, dies in an accident. Leah would have liked to mourn David's death peacefully if it had not seemed that David was on the run from someone. In addition, there is the strange encounter with the hooligan Marcel Fork. Marcel lost his best friend the same day, stabbed to death by strangers in the soccer stadium. Just a few feet away from where David had his accident. Is there a connection?
