Synopsis
Sunja and her family weather the hardships of living in a WWII Japan
Sunja deals with the aftermath of her husband's arrest. With nobody to provide for her two kids, she resorts to selling Kimchi on the streets of Osaka to scrape up enough to provide for her family. The second season follows Sunja and her sons as they deal with the fear, insecurity, and scarcity brought on by a war stricken Japan. The season also focuses on the brotherly bond between Mozasu and Nazu, Kyunghee's character development as she becomes Sunja's business partner and closest confidant, and the intricacies of Solomon's shady business deal with the Japanese tycoon Mamoru Yoshii,

Youn Yuh-jung reprises her role as the strong willed Kim Sunja for Season 2 of Pachinko
Pachinko Season 2 is a drama series produced for Apple TV+. The series is based on Min Ji Lee's novel of the same. Season 2 is based on a screenplay co-written by series creator Soo Hugh, who also serves as the showrunner for the upcoming season. Season 2 is directed by Justin Chon and Kogonada.
Pachinko Season 2 retains most of the regulars from Season 1 with Youn Yuh-jung returning to play the role of the female lead protagonist Kim Sunja. She is joined by Korean popstar turned actor, Lee Min-ho who plays the role of Hansu. Jin Ha returns as the business minded grandson Solomon Baek.
