Synopsis
Dead Boy Detectives is the only place to go when you need a mystery solved in the afterlife
Teenage ghosts Edwin and Charles team up to cheat death, and spend their afterlife solving mysteries for other dead people instead. With a little help from their psychic sidekick, Claire, this deadly duo quickly set up shop by the name of Dead Boy Detectives, and begin to solve unresolved murders while doing their best to stay away from death, witches, zombies, and any other supernatural being out to get them.

What is the Dead Boy Detective Agency?
The Dead Boy Detective agency is a fictional detective duo comprising of two teenage ghosts, Charles Rowland and Edward Paine. The duo first appeared in a DC comic written by Neil Gaiman, and are now all set to make their on-screen premiere in Netflix's latest series Dead Boy Detective Club.
Who plays the role of Night Nurse in Dead Boy Detectives?
The Night Nurse is a very pivotal character in the series and is set to be played by Ruth Connell. You may recognize Ruth from her work as Rowena in the series Supernatural. In addition to Ruth Connell, the series boasts an ensemble cast featuring George Rexstrew as the teenage ghost detective Edwin Paine, Jayden Rewri as the second half of the detective duo, Charles Rowland, Kassius Nelson as their psychic sidekick, Crystal, Briana Cuoco as Jenny the Butcher, Yuyu Kitamura as Niko, and Jenn Lyon as Esther. The supporting cast includes Lukas Gage, Michael Beach, Joshua Colley, Lindsey Gort, Caitlin Reily, Max Jenkins, and David Iacono.
How is Dead Boy Detectives related to Sandman?
Both The Sandman and Dead Boy Detectives are based on comic books written by Neil Gaimen, and take place in the same universe. The teenage ghost detective duo were first introduced in The Sandman comics Volume 25. The series will also see Kirby Howell-Baptise who plays the role of in The Sandman reprise her haunting role for Dead Boy Detectives.
Is Dead Boy Detectives Club a DC show?
Dead Boy Detectives is based on a set of DC comic book characters of the same name but its not a part of DC's film and tv universe. The series was originally set to premiere on HBO Max, however, this project was dropped after James Gunn and Peter Safran decided that the series didn't fit well with the rest of the DC Universe. The series was later picked up by Netflix.
