Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi pair up for the South-Indian romantic thriller Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas is a Hindi and Tamil language romantic-thriller directed by Sriram Raghuvan. An acclaimed neo-noir filmmaker best known for his films Andhadhun, Agent Vinod, and Badlapur. The movie is produced by Ramesh Turani, Sanjay Routray, and Gewal Garg under the banner of Matchbox Pictures and Tips Films.
The film's dramatic background score has been composed by Bollywood composer Pritam, while Daniel. B. George serves as the film's cinematographer and lead editor. The movie has been simultaneously filmed in Hindi and Tamil language with a different supporting crew for each version.
Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi star as the film's central characters, this is the first time the two leading actors will be seen sharing screenspace together. They're joined by Sanjay Kapoor and Vinay Pathak in supporting roles. Actor Radhika Sarathakumar steps in for Vinay Pathak for the Tamil version of the film. The movie also includes a cameo from Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar.
