My Friend’s Graduation Ceremony - Season 1 (2024)

Min Gu has been struck with poverty all along. He thought he would stay as a misfit even in college until he became dormmates with Seung Bae, an eccentric old man. Since Min Gu and Seung Bae have the same major, Min Gu happens to clean up every mess Seung Bae causes. One day, Min Gu, who has been apathetic all his life, finds himself smiling when he looks at Seung Bae. Seung Bae has lived a lonely life without friends, doing all the odd jobs to get by for 74 years, and he's diagnosed with cancer. Instead of staying in the hospital to get treatment, he decides to pursue his lifelong dream of studying in college. He also made a friend called Min Gu for the first time in his life. The heartwarming yet a bit clumsy friendship begins between Min Gu, who just started his life as a grownup, and Seung Bae, who's standing at the end of his life.
