Résumé
The series chronicles the zany, humorous exploits of the Duncan family as they collectively attempt to raise nine-month-old Charlie and maintain their independent lives. Parents AMY and BOB work full-time, so the responsibility is shared with children TEDDY, PJ, and GABE. As a recurring theme, Teddy films video-diary entries intended to eventually provide advice to Charlie on how to “survive” as a member of the lovingly dysfunctional Duncan family. The entries encapsulate the themes and lessons of each episode. As the behavior of the other characters becomes increasingly irreverent, Teddy takes on the role of the responsible matriarch that grounds the family.
