Synopsis
In the second season of Ride Upon The Storm, we pick up after the tragic death of August, the Krogh family’s youngest son. The death of a young man is something we almost always describe as meaningless. So how do we find meaning in the meaningless? How do we go on living? Are we still a family when the family we knew has been changed forever? And can we really have unchanging faith in the Good Lord that let evil happen? For the Krogh family, life has relentlessly moved on after August’s death. But behind the façade, they are all shipwrecked in the wake of their loss. All of them have secrets and lie about how they’re truly doing. It is said that sorrow is love without a home. So, if we want to escape the sorrow, we – figuratively speaking – haveto find a new home for all our homeless love. The season is as such a journey from darkness towards light. From being divided to once again coming together as a family. The characters seek a new meaning for their existence and perhaps find it where they least expected it. The faithful in doubt and the doubtful in faith.
