Synopsis
This three-part documentary series focuses on Canada's involvement in World War II. By using interviews, re-enactments, archival footage, and photographs, Brian McKenna's feature-length documentaries depict the brutal surrender of Hong Kong to Japan in 1941, the pilots who served in the Air Force Bomber Command, and the Canadian troops who joined forces by storming the beaches of Normandy.
