King of the Hill - Season 8 (2003)

From deep in the heart of Texas comes the 8th season of the half-hour animated comedy <i>King of the Hill</i>, depicting the life and times of Hank Hill (Mike Judge), his family and their neighbors in the fictional suburb of Arlen, Texas — the heartland of America. Hank’s Rock of Gibraltar is his wife, Peggy (Kathy Najimy), who sees herself as a true renaissance woman: substitute Spanish teacher, journalist, fast-pitch softball hurler, local Boggle champion and notary public. Hank and Peggy’s pride and joy is their 13-year-old son, Bobby (Pamela Adlon). The household is completed by Hank’s nubile 18-year-old niece, Luanne (Brittany Murphy). Most episodes, you’ll find Hank and his buddies drinking beer around the barbecue. Chances are, what’s on the grill is a sacred cow. In the 8th season, Hank enters his house in Arlen’s Parade of Homes, Peggy coaches a cheerleading squad, Luanne joins forces with Hank to protest a propane ban, and Bobby joins the school’s academic team...but the stress proves too much for him to handle.
