Synopsis
A town's past is uncovered following the accidental release of spirits
Five teenagers accidentally release vengeful spirits, leading to a major disturbance in their lives. Putting aside their personal differences and previous conflicts, they must join forces to undo the consequences of their actions. In the process, they unearth their town's hidden past and unravel a haunting mystery that ties their parents to a menacing danger that puts everyone at risk.

Justin Long stars in Disney+ adaptation of beloved R.L. Stine book series
Goosebumps season 1 is the first season of Disney+ and Hulu's TV show with horror and comedic elements aimed at teenagers. Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller developed the series which is based on the book series of the same name written by R.L. Stine beginning in 1992. Letterman is familiar with the Goosebumps universe as he previously directed the 2015 film adaptation. Goosebumps (2023) is the second TV adaptation of the series as the original series ran for four seasons during the 1990s.
The cast of Goosebumps include Justin Long as Nathan Bratt. Ana Yi Ping as Isabella, Miles McKenna as James, Will Price as Lucas, Zack Morris as Isaiah, Isa Briones as Margot, Rachael Harris as Nora and Rob Huebel as Colin. Slappy the Dummy, the franchise's main antagonist that has haunted children's dreams since the '90s, also makes an appearance.
