Luke Brunner and his daughter Emma have woven a web of deception throughout the years, concealing their true identities as CIA operatives from one another. FUBAR season 1 is the first season of Netflix's spy-action comedy TV series from Nick Santora. Santora gained notable acclaim for his contributions as a writer on The Sopranos along with his involvement in other popular TV shows like Law & Order, Prison Break and Scorpion. He also co-wrote the film, Punisher: War Zone in 2008. In FUBAR, Santora serves as an executive producer alongside the show's lead, Arnold Schwarzenegger. The production team includes Scott Sullivan, Adam Higgs, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Bill Bost, Holly Dale and Phil Abraham as producers. Abraham and Santora, who previously collaborated on The Sopranos, direct and write the pilot episode of FUBAR, respectively.
In FUBAR, Arnold Schwarzenegger takes on the lead role of Luke Brunner, while Monica Barbaro portrays his daughter, Emma. This series marks Schwarzenegger's first time as the star in a scripted live-action TV show. Jay Baruchel stars as Carter, Aparna Brielle as Tina, Andy Buckley as Donnie, Milan Carter as Barry, Fortune Feimster as Ruth (aka Roo), Barbara Eve Harris as Dot, Gabriel Luna as Boro, Fabiana Udenio as Tally Brunner and Travis Van Winkle as Aldon. The recurring cast includes Devon Bostick as Oscar, David Chinchilla as Cain Khan, Rachel Lynch as Romi, Stephanie Sy as Sandy, and Scott Thompson as Dr. Louis Pfeffer. Additionally, Dustin Milligan and Tom Arnold make guest appearances in the series.
