Amanda Waller is the leader of A.R.G.U.S (the Advanced Research Group United Support) and runs off-the-books missions with some of the world’s deadliest supervillains. Waller is not above blackmail, torture or any other means necessary to achieve her targets.

Amanda Blake Waller (also known as ‘the Wall’) is a DC Comics character who first appeared in Legends #1. She is a ruthless high-ranking official associated with the fictional government agencies A.R.G.U.S and Checkmate. She is also in charge of the Suicide Squad, a group of supervillains.

Waller is part of James Gunn and Peter Safran’s DC Universe Chapter One: “Gods and Monsters”. It is a spin-off of the superhero series Peacemaker and the 2021 film The Suicide Squad.
Who is the Waller cast?
Viola Davis stars as the titular Amanda Waller. She has played the role in previous DC movies The Suicide Squad and Suicide Squad. Davis is an Academy Award winning actress who has previously starred in Fences, Doubt and Air. Davis is joined by Steve Agee (Peacemaker, Superstore) as Waller’s aide, John Economos.
Who is the creative team behind Waller?
Waller is written and created by Christal Henry and Jeremy Carver. Henry has written for Watchmen and won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Limited Series for her work on the show. Carver served as an executive producer and showrunner on Doom Patrol and Supernatural. Henry, James Gunn, Peter Safran and Viola Davis serve as executive producers on Waller.
