Synopsis
Truck racer, Roger, is in peril after getting tangled up with a criminal organisation
Roger and Rainha are tied for first place in the competitive world of truck racing, both fighting for the title of ultimate champion. Things quickly go south when Roger starts working for a criminal organisation transporting goods. The gang helps keep his racing career funded and the team together, but at what cost? Although a very talented driver, his skills alone are not enough to make a successful career. Roger must decide what he is willing to pay in order to be the most successful truck racer.

Netflix's first Brazilian action movie zooms onto screens
Overhaul (Cargá Maxima in Brasilian Portuguese) is a Brazilian sports-action movie on Netflix. The film is directed by Tomas Portella, who previously worked on Impuros and Operações Especiais. The screenplay is written by Unsuspicious creator Leandro Soares, and the film is produced by TC Filmes and Gullane.
Thiago Martins, a popular Brazilian actor known to international audiences for City of God, plays truck driver Roger. Sheron Menezzes plays Rainha, the competing professional driver. The cast also includes Paulo Vilhena, Milhem Cortaz, Raphael Logam and Evandro Mesquita.
