Horror film Bird Box gets spin-off movie on Netflix
Bird Box Barcelona is a dystopian horror film on Netflix. Alex Pastor and David Pastor write and direct, with the duo previously creating The Head. Daniel Aranyo (Into The Badlands) serves as cinematographer, with music from Zeltia Montes (The Good Boss). Dylan Clark, Núria Valls, Adrián Guerra, Chris Morgan, Ryan Lewis and Josh Malerman produce. The film is based on Josh Malerman’s 2014 novel of the same name. Bird Box Barcelona is a spin-off from the hit 2018 Netflix film Bird Box.
Mario Casas plays Sebastián and Nalia Schuberth plays Sophia. They are a father and daughter trying to survive in the dystopian future. Georgina Campbell, Diego Calva, Alejandra Howard, Lola Dueñas, Gonzalo de Castro, Patrick Criado, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Michelle Jenner and Celia Freijeiro make up the film’s cast.
