Synopsis
Charlotte grows suspicious of Jackie's perfect life, and spends the Christmas holidays looking for the truth
Jackie sends a holiday newsletter to her friends every year, and shares all about her incredible life to her friends and family. Charlotte, an old friend from university, is wary about Jackie’s picture perfect life. When Charlotte and her husband Rob end up at Jackie’s for the Christmas holidays, she makes it her mission to uncover the truth. Even though Jackie welcomes them with open arms, Charlotte still can’t shake the feeling that something is being hidden.

Pet Sematary director switches gears to helm Netflix Christmas rom-com
Best. Christmas. Ever! is a holiday romantic comedy movie on Netflix. The film is directed by Mary Lambert, who is a renowned music video director having worked with Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey and Madonna. She also previously helmed horror films Pet Sematary and Pet Sematary II. Lambert has an ongoing collaborative partnership with Netflix, having directed A Castle for Christmas starring Brooke Shields and Cary Elwes in 2021.
Grammy Award winner Brandy Norwood stars as Jackie, the woman with the seemingly perfect life which she shares in her annual holiday newsletter. Heather Graham stars as Charlotte, Jackie’s friend who suspects something is amiss. Graham is known for roles in The Hangover and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. Starring as Charlotte’s husband, Rob, is American Pie’s Jason Biggs, with Days of Our Lives’ Matt Cedeño as Jackie’s husband Valentino.
