Juacas - Temporada 1 (2017)

The CAOSS (Super Surfing Waves Annual Tournament) season is here! Every year during summer vacation, CAOSS attracts teens from all over the country sharing one dream: becoming a professional surfer. Following them, of course, are fans, tourists and surf enthusiasts who flood the city of Itacaré. This year, there’s a twist! The historic team Juacas, which was away for years due to the disappearance of their coach, Professor Juaca, is back in the competition! Lacking resources and sponsors, the Juacas will need to compete against the unbeatable high-tech team, the Red Sharks; the first team formed only by girls, the Sirenas; among several other teams who hunger for the top title. Every CAOSS competitor must live in a lodge and train daily to become even better. But the Juacas' hut is a dump! Besides, they have no technique and no money to support themselves! How can anyone compete under these conditions? With adventure, comedy and exciting moments, the Juacas go from underdogs to champions, dealing with strong competition and relationship difficulties that accompany growing up. In the end, they emerge more mature, great surfers and, most of all: best friends!
