Synopsis
It's 1914, the Great War rages, millions of men have shipped off to join the fight, yet in the sleepy English village of Rittle-on-Sea, three young chaps have stayed behind. Cecil would love to be a brave soldier, but isn't physically fit to fight. Pacifist teacher George has no intention of being part of the conflict he disagrees with, and unscrupulous cad Bert used his lies to worm out of the army. Labelling the boys as cowards, the ladies of Rittle-on-Sea are none-too-pleased about their decision to stick around, leaving these chaps with only each other for company.
