Arun, a young traveler, stumbles into the Shukla residence that is trying hard to marry off their daughter Saru, but consistent rejections have made them anxious and they pressurize Saru to try harder to impress prospective grooms. Saru herself is highly affected by all this and makes different plans where Arun may have a part to play.
