Three eccentric conspiracy theorists—John Fitzgerald Byers, Melvin Frohike, and Richard "Ringo" Langly—who publish a magazine called The Lone Gunman. The trio embarks on various adventures to uncover government and corporate conspiracies, often finding themselves in over their heads. They are joined by Jimmy Bond, a well-meaning but naive benefactor, and Yves Adele Harlow, a mysterious and skilled operative whose true motives are often unclear.
