Straying away from Marvel and DC, The Boys has its own dark and twisted world of superheroes and vigilante justice. Based on the adult-oriented comic book series of the same name, this Prime Video hit revolves around a group of costumed “Supes” who create more damage and destruction than actually saving the world. To counter these power-crazed superheroes are a group of vigilantes that call themselves The Boys. Shockingly dark comedy and blood-soaked action follow.

How to watch The Boys in chronological order
-
The Boys (seasons 1-3)
-
The Boys Season 4
Non canonical: The Boys Presents: Diabolical
Watching The Boys is pretty straightforward when it comes to the first three seasons. These seasons revolve around vigilantes like Hughie (Jack Quaid) and Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) teaming up with superheroine Starlight (Erin Moriarty). Their enemy in this crusade is the evil Superman-like “Supe” Homelander (Anthony Starr) and Vought Inc., the company that sponsors such heroes.
Matters get a bit different after season 3 with the spin-off Gen V. Set in a university for budding superheroes, the show takes place side by side as the other events of the boys with nods to characters like Homelander. The events of Gen V’s first season follow up to The Boys season 4.
Another exciting spin-off of The Boys to watch is The Boys Presents: Diabolical. The animated anthology series includes many alternate stories on the characters of The Boys and other Vought-sponsored Supes. Each episode has a standalone adventure that is mostly not canon to the main storyline of The Boys.
