Nan Yue Li (Cosmos Lin) eagerly leaves her small Moon Village to pursue her dreams in the city, determined to rule both her career and love life. When the village chief passes away, she reluctantly returns home and unexpectedly reunites with her childhood sweetheart, Bi Guo Jian (Xie Kun Da), a talented chef. The chief's will reveals a surprising condition: Yue Li and Guo Jian must marry and live in the village for one year to inherit valuable salt fields. Pressured by the entire village and faced with a choice that challenges their individual aspirations, the couple must navigate their complicated feelings and unexpected circumstances.
