After being crowned the Princess of Maldonia, Tiana sets off on a new adventure — although New Orleans is never far behind.

What is Tiana all about?
Tiana is an upcoming animated musical TV show produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The show is a sequel to the 2009 movie The Princess and the Frog, which first introduced Tiana as a new Disney Princess. Tiana is the first Walt Disney Animations Production to be helmed by an African American director and the first to be solely directed by a woman.
Who are the creative team making Tiana?
Tiana is written by Stella Meghie, Ron Clements and John Musker. Meghie is also a director on the series and is known for directing The Weekend and The Photograph. Musker and Clements are Disney veterans who have writing credits on Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Moana, and The Princess and the Frog. Joyce Sherri is another director on the series whose previous work includes Beauty and writing for Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Mass.
Who is starring in Tiana?
Anika Noni Rose reprises her role as Tiana from The Princess and the Frog for the Disney show. She has starred in series such as Let The Right One In, Maid, and Power. She is joined in the cast by the iconic television show presenter Oprah Winfrey who stars as Eudora.
