Synopsis

Mike Schmidt gets more than he bargains for when starting a new job as night manager

Mike Schmidt starts a new position as night guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a mostly deserted family-friendly restaurant. While on the job, he makes the shocking discovery. After midnight, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, the four animatronic mascots in the restaurant come to life and will kill anyone who gets in their way.

Josh Hutcherson stars in movie adaptation of popular horror video game franchise

Five Nights at Freddy’s is a supernatural horror movie, based on the hit video game series created by Scott Cawthon. Directed by Emma Tammi, with script from Tammi, Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback, for Universal Pictures. Renowned horror movie producer Jason Blum, known for Insidious, Get Out, and Halloween, produces the film through his production company Blumhouse Productions, with Cawthon and Striker Entertainment. 

Josh Hutcherson stars as protagonist Mike Schmidt. He has previously starred in films such as The Hunger Games series, Bridge to Terabithia and Journey to the Center of the Earth. The rest of the cast includes Elizabeth Lail (You) as Vanessa, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson, Matthew Lillard, Lucas Grant and Jessica Blackmore.
